Anjaneya Statue erected in Gerugamabakkam by Actor Arjun

 

On 07th April 2012,  in actor Arjun’s garden at Gerugambakkam, Chennai,  the Anjaneya statue was erected. The Anjaneya statue is 28 feet in height and weighing 143 tons. It is the one of the tallest Anjaneya in the world on this position.
 
Actor Arjun said during this occasion,  that the construction of the temple will be completed in a year of time.

World biggest temple of Anjaneyar coming up in Gerugambakkam

The world biggest Anjaneyar statue of 23 feet weighting 15 tons on padmasana position coming up in Gerugambakkam.
The statue has reached Gerugambakkam all the way from Karnataka on 160 wheeled truck.

Arjun Dedicates an Anjaneyar Temple in Gerugambakkam, Chennai

Recently Raghava Larencce dedicated a Raghavendra Temple to the public. And now Action King Arjun, a devotee of lord Anjaneyar is building a temple for his favourite God in Gerugambakkam, Chennai. To install in the temple a huge Anjaneyar statue, measuring about 23 feet and weighing 15 tons was sculpted by experts in Hubli in Karnataka at the behest of Arjun.

Since Arjun wanted a monolithic statue, it took him nearly a year to find such a stone and it took another four years to sculpt it. The Anjaneyar statue, which is in Padmasana position, will be the tallest Anjaneyar statue in the world a in that position.

The statue is being transported to Chennai from Karnataka in specially modified 160-wheeled truck.
